End of a Long 6 Months!

Well, yesterday I went off warfarin! Hurrah! 6 months since my pulmonary embolism and time in the hospital! I saw my primary care doctor and reminded her that the ultrasound showed no clots in the broken ankle area and so,,, I'm FREE! It wasn't as bad as I had thought that it would be... going to the coumadin clinic for testing often, worrying about what drugs/food/etc that I could take... limiting my WINE intake to 5oz occasionally. Today, my WWAH -- Wild Woman at Home Wine Tasting group meets and I can sip to my heart's delight (with caution tho).... and with the 4th of July coming up..... a beer!
