Trader Joe's finally entering Louisiana market

TJ's is scheduled to open their first Louisiana store in the fall of 2013 in Baton Rouge. I know Gumbeaux is in north Louisiana. Anyone else in the area?

I believe Gumbeaux has moved to Oklahoma.They are building both a Trader Joe's and Whole Foods here in Columbia, SC. They are both under construction. I am wondering what this will do to Earth Fare, Rosewood Market, and Fresh Market as they all will be in the same area of the city.

I didn't realize he moved.

We've had a Whole Foods and Fresh Market for about 5 years. I shop both depending on what I need. TJ's is in a different category as far as grocery shopping. All 3 stores are (will be) in the same part of the city too.

I moved to Oklahoma last December. I do have family back in North Louisiana, so we go back once a month. Where in Baton Rouge is it going to be located? I have family and friends in Baton Rouge also, so I go there some too.

Gumbeaux, it's going to be in Acadian Village on the corner of Acadian and Perkins (close to LSU). They're also building a Galatoire's in the same center.
