Hysterical!!I saw your post, and I thought WHY? Loved the prom date teaser
I enjoy reading the comments on Amazon and news articles almost as much as the articles themlf, if not more. Sometimes, they are absolutely hilarious.
I have been seeing a lot of different types of fruit slicers lately - watermelon, pineapple, mango, banana......nearly all of them look like the apple corer/slicer (the circular thing with 6-8 slices and a whole in the middle) , but larger or in a slightly different shape. Is this the new big thing??
I've had a horrible, awful, bad day and this is just what I needed! Thanks for the ROTFLMAO, I needed that.
P.S. Remember the "How to Boil Water" on Epicurious? Oh, heck, and almost anything from Aunt Sandy.

Oh, this is just great! Thanks!

So funny. I'm tempted to get my SIL one for Christmas just for the giggle factor. Thanks for the laugh.

REALLY???
We used to use our egg slicer for that when we were first married. Takes more time to clean it off after that it was worth.
At the same time we somehow obtained an electric fruit ripener. It became out gag gift. How about a good ole paper bag?
Oh, dear. That this device even exists, may create a dangerous paradox that undoes the fabric of the universe. But then, I thought the same thing about furry toilet seat covers.
Thanks for the laugh, cocoa's mom.
I shared it with a bunch of friends and it certainly brightened their days! One friend, in France, said that she had actually seen this offered in a cooking supplies catalogue and couldn't believe it.
I think my favorite comment is the one that complains that her bananas bend the wrong way.

YES!! The recipe for "Salted Water for Boiling" on Epicurious is classic! I hadn't looked at that in a couple of years and just went back and read some of the comments. Hilarious! Here's the link for those that haven't seen it: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/fo...ng-105591?pg=1
