If you put an ad blocker on your internet server, chances are you won't have any ads at all.

Firefox's ad blocker works really well.

No. Firefox and Google Chrome both offer free ad/pop-up blockers.

If you go to the help section of the server you use, put in ad blocker -- you should find the information you need.

I'm not sure whether Internet Explorer has one. I don't ever use it ---- anyone? Someone using IE --- do they have an ad blocker?

Pop ups are ads that "pop" onto the page you are viewing. You then have to click on the "X" or "close" to get the ad to go away. Sidebar and banner ads are ads that line the page you are viewing.

I'm sorry I can't answer about the Equinox ad. I have an ad blocker so I don't see any ads at all.

Thanks again Dee. I guess this weekend I will have to be careful and not let my granddaughter visit the BB. Hey, maybe my DD can add the ad-blocker for me They do get boring after awhile. The ads, not my DD
