I noticed CL is now asking its web readers what piece of cooking equipment they'd most like to own? I own several of the things on the list, including a stand-up mixer, pasta machine, and bread maker. My feelings about these are mixed. The pasta machine was something I registered for in a fit of excitement over receiving fun cooking things, and I actually received it as a gift. I watched the video but never have used it -- 4 + years later. The bread machine I used a lot when we first got it, but I haven't used it in over a year. I do use the stand up mixer on a regular basis. And, as for things I'd like -- I don't have a regular food processor (I use a Braun multi-mix) and I'd love to have one.
