    Raspberry-Cornmeal Muffins-CL-9/12

These were quick and easy and very tasty. The only thing is....I can't decide if we should eat them with a meal (like soup or salad) or as a breakfast treat. They aren't sweet, like a breakfast muffin would be, but they do have a little sugar. I really like them.

Those do look good Terry. Thanks for the review. (Recipe here)

I think if you ate them with salad or something savoury you might find them too sweet. I find it hard to believe they have only 2 reviews, both one star, with complaints about blandness.

I'll be making them for my raspberry-loving dd. Maybe with extra raspberries. mm-mmm. Maybe not the world's tastiest muffin but if you're a cornmeal-loving, raspberry-loving muffin eater you gotta like them, no?
    Cheers! Andy

I was one of the 1 star reviewers. i love raspberries and I make corn muffins frequently, but we really thought they were missing something. Maybe my raspberries weren't as sweet as they could have been but very rarely do i end up tossing a whole batch of baked goods out because nobody wanted to eat them.

Love cornmeal muffins, and I think these would be delicious with bacon and eggs, but only if you fry the eggs in bacon grease. I can't help it; I have an extremely large fat tooth.
