Talking Supper Club in Rochester, MN?

Is there already a Rochester MN supper club in existence? Would anyone else be interested in forming a couples and singles group in the Rochester area? jj

Unhappy Rochester, MN group - Oh well!?

I guess there's no interest in a Rochester, MN group. How about a far south Mpls/St Paul suburbs group on south to Rochester with a bit of driving? If not then I guess that's my last try... jj

Question Minneapolis/St Paul MN supper club

I am interested in starting/joining a supper club in the Twin Cities area. I currently reside in Richfield, just south of Minneapolis. I don't know if that is too far for you or not. Let me know.

    Richfield?

    Hi jenniflower -
I think Richfield would be fine in good weather but it could be a real challenge in a blizzard - but so can just across town!? I really wouldn't care to join a totally T.C.Metro group though. I'd rather not make the drive for every "meeting"...

I've just read Peter Mayle's latest book "French Lessons" and found his term to describe the type of cooking I'd be interested in trying to get going in a "supper club". He calls it "cuisine minceur" which translates(?)as "thin food" - it would be a sort of "spa food". Or maybe the term should be "diet gourmet"!?

    twin cities supper clud

I am sorry it took me so long to respond. I haven't checked my email in about a week. I see that several people expressed interest in a supper club in Rochester and perhaps you would prefer to stay there.??? I understand the travel difficulties and I myself am not interested in traveling very far--so I completely understand if a Rochester group is more suitable. I might perhaps be willing to travel there on weekend only. The thin cuisine sounds fun. Let me know what you choose to do. Good luck and have fun!

    Rochester, MN cooking club

I'm in Rochester, MN and am very interested in getting a cooking/dinner club put together. Have you had any other local responses? Do you have any preferences on days of the week, etc.?

I'd love to hear more about a Rochester supper club, if anyone is interested.
