    My Christmas present finally arrived!

    Mason was born yesterday (Saturday) at 6:09pm. He weighed 8lbs 5oz. I cannot believe how much I love him already! He is so perfect. I went into labor about 3:30am Sat morning. I was able to do the whole thing naturally. Right now the words 'only child' keep going through my mind, but Clint says he wants about 10 more. He was really wonderful throughout my labor, and he is a real natural with Mason.

    Gotta go, I will try to post more in the next few days, and I will include pictures.

    Oh CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! I was a lurker on the pregnancy threads, so I have been anxiously awaiting the good news!!!!! My only question (from someone who has no kids, so I don't know how this all works.... )

    Are you home ALREADY??? Did you give birth at HOME?!!! Do you have a laptop in the HOSPITAL??!!!

    Amazing, amazing, amazing. How wonderful for you and your husband. Congratulations again!!

    I'm so glad it went well for you guys and that you could do it naturally. I'm jealous of that and your 14.5 hour labor!

    Congratulations and amazing as it may sound, you will forget the bad part of the labor experience in a short amount of time. I went totally natural with DD in about the same amount of time as you did and it was but a faint memory by the time I went in for my six week check up!

    pps grace: we did bring a laptop to the hospital... we used a dial-up connection to update our webpage the next morning from our hospital room... you should have seen DH with all of his 'equipment' - digital camera, video camera, laptop, etc. etc. etc!!!
