    My Christmas present finally arrived!

Mason was born yesterday (Saturday) at 6:09pm. He weighed 8lbs 5oz. I cannot believe how much I love him already! He is so perfect. I went into labor about 3:30am Sat morning. I was able to do the whole thing naturally. Right now the words 'only child' keep going through my mind, but Clint says he wants about 10 more. He was really wonderful throughout my labor, and he is a real natural with Mason.

Gotta go, I will try to post more in the next few days, and I will include pictures.
    Anne

When you start to cook, as when you begin to live, you think that the point is to improve the technique until you end up with something perfect, and that the reason you haven’t been able to break the cycle of desire and disillusion is that you haven’t yet mastered the rules. Then you grow up, and you learn that that’s the game.

Congratulations!!!!! He's pretty amazing, isn't he? I'm glad that you had an "easy" labor (as if labor is ever easy, right?).

Remember to take care of yourself, too!

    CONGRATULATIONS, ANNE, CLINT AND MASON!!

I'm so glad it went well for you guys and that you could do it naturally. I'm jealous of that and your 14.5 hour labor!
I am also looking forward to seeing pictures. Thanks for letting us know about the good news so soon. Enjoy your precious little bundle.

Congratulations and amazing as it may sound, you will forget the bad part of the labor experience in a short amount of time. I went totally natural with DD in about the same amount of time as you did and it was but a faint memory by the time I went in for my six week check up!

Can hardly wait to see pictures.

Well, duh. I was not a lurker on the pregnancy threads - only very occasionally - so I totally overlooked this post until curiousity got the best of me! DOH!

You must be so, so proud. You should print this out and show him someday that so many people welcomed his birth. Congratulations!

Congratulations Anne! I tried to post yesterday, but kept getting errors! Please let me know how you got through without drugs. I was thinking of trying it next time!

It is so wonderful to watch the man you love cuddling a tiny new life. It makes you fall in love all over again. Glad to hear everyone is healthy!
