I just found out that I won't be able to attend! A very good friend of mine is graduating that afternoon (hellooo?--classes aren't even over yet here at my school!) with her Masters Degree & they're having a big shebang after the ceremony, etc.

Sigh...

Well, enjoy all the good LaShish food & take and post pictures, so I can live vicariously...

Well, an executive decision has been made to cancel this weekend's get together due to a few people are now unable to make it.

I might be able to do it too. So far the only bad weekend for me is the last one right before Halloween.

I've really been wanting to go to Troy and hit Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall and, ahem, mostly window shop at the Somerset Collection in Auburn Hills. I've been to both once, but I just saw online that the outlet mall has Ann Taylor Loft and a Petite Sophisticate!!! I've never seen these two stores in outlets before!

Not that these need to be where everyone meets, but I'd definitely have to try to work them in if I made the trip.

Just so you know where you're going, Great Lakes Crossings is in Auburn Hills, and Somerset is in Troy!

SandyM: We're heading up to Country Hermitage B&B http://www.countryhermitage.com/index.htm. It's a 300? acre cherry farm a bit north of Traverse City (not on the peninsula ) but still a nice place. Hopefully the color will be good that weekend, we'll look around at wineries & antiques etc. if its nice weather outside, if not..... that's okay too.
It's been three LOOONNNNNGGGG years since DH & I have had any kind of vacation--even a weekend, so this is much looked forward too. We've decided that even if we're bleeding out our eyes, we're going anyways!

Hopefully the get together is a weekend that I can attend, I don't mind shopping, but it will truely have to be 'window'.

Well, that's about on par for the rest of my week! Planned a meeting for which I was chairperson - everyone could make it that day except for ME (forgot about my son's field trip that day)! Drove 40 minutes to do some shopping and realized I forgot my purse - had to turn around and go home. Totally forgot about a birthday party my son was supposed to go to - and he was the only one going!!
