    Cedar Planks

    Hi,

Does anyone know where I can purchase cedar planks?

    Thanks.

I would think any hardware store would carry them - you'd need to cut them to the right size, though. Just doublecheck that the wood isn't treated (usually cedar isn't).

Williams Sonoma carries them. Not sure how much they are. And I'm sure I just saw them somewhere else, but my mind has become a blank. I'll post if I remember.

Most nicer kitchen stores sell them these days - check places maybe a step up from Bed, Bath & Beyond (and similar places), since I don't think you'll find them there. Shirley mentioned WS, and I think Sur la Table probably has them too. I've heard people just using wood plank pieces from the hardware store, but I got mine at a kitchen store - has a nice indented area for your food to sit and came with a cookbook.
