The pizza I recreated last night was so good that I wanted to share it. All it needs is pizza dough, pesto, shredded fontina and fresh tomato slices. I spread the pesto on the dough, sprinkled the cheese, placed the tomatoes on top and then baked it.
The inspiration came from Citizen Cake, a restaurant in San Francisco, where I took DD for a special lunch the day before school started.
