    ISO Reviews/Help Cheese Deserts 9/02

I am having people over on Thursday from dinner after work and before a theatre show. Basically we'll have about 2 hrs to get dinner from started to eaten... I wanted to use the recipies from the Say Cheese article for desert. I especially liked the one with nut bread, apples, cheese and reduced cider. But I can't figure out how to come up with nut bread. I am not sure about making the others and how they'll turn out - they seem a bit complicated. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I was intrigued by the phyllo napoleon, blue cheese, and pear dessert, so I would also appreciate any reviews on that one (or any other ones if you've made them). TIA!

    Phyllo napoleons

The napoleans looked interesting to me too, but I am not sure what to do with phyllo or how it works and they seemed complicated for a rushed evening. Maybe if I could make everything ahead, they would would be easier than the other one, but I don't know. What do you do with extra phyllo anyway?

I will be making the Napoleons for Supper Club later this month, so I can't help you very much. However, I can't see why you couldn't make this ahead of time. As to what to do with the leftover phyllo, one of my club members told me I could just refreeze it. I'm going to try it and see what happens to it.
