    "Cheese Snow Flakes" ??

I'm wondering if anyone has heard of or knows how to make an appetizer called "Cheese Snow Flakes"? It's something like Jack cheese (would that mean Monterey Jack Cheese???) cut into 1/4 inch cubes and baked. I'd like to be/have more definite details but...we had these over the holidays and I wasn't able to find out any more specifics.

    TIA

Found this recipe and while it calls for cheddar or Parmesan I'm sure you could sub jack.

    Crispy Cheese Snowflakes

    Ingredients:
8 ounces of Cheddar or Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

    Preparation:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop 1 generous tablespoon of grated cheese on the parchment 3 inches apart. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 6-8 minutes until golden. Let cool and then peel off the parchment.

This sounds devine - how can melted cheese be bad? Kind of like those parmesean crisps you get in restaurants. Way too easy to have any restraint. Thanks for this thread, guys!
