cream cheese dips/spreads that can be frozen

Are there any such things out there?

I'm thinking about the train trip and thought if I froze it first, it would make a great thing to snack on as it thawed overnight

(yes, I read all the dip threads, but wasn't sure what was freezeable, so please indulge me )

    TIA

Krispy Spo posted this on one of the dip threads...do you think I could freeze this--and maybe mix it all up...or is that just gross

    Chili Cheese Dip
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 can Hormel Chili w/o beans
    1 onion, chopped
    1 can diced green chiles
    2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
1 can sliced black olives (optional)

Layer ingredients in a shallow casserole dish, starting with the cream cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 - 30 minutes until cheese bubbles. Serve with tortilla chips and/or fritos.

They can't. They break and get watery. Do yourself a favor and make it when you need it.
