Very tasty! I was actually not expecting much from this one and was pleasantly surprisedI would give it a solid 8/8.5 with ease and speed factoring in there as well. I used lean generation pork chops and added a bit of cornstarch at the end to thicken up the "sauce". I also added mushrooms to the pork mixture. I loved how the heat from the adobo balanced out the sweetness of the couscous. And DH who is not usually a big couscous fan certainly liked it with the apples. All in all, I thought it was a well received weeknight meal!

Grannies are tart, but I personally think they become sweet when they are cooked. The couscous to me tasted sweet with the juice and the cooked apple.
