We have reserved a park for our (now annual?) Houston area picnic on Sunday, May 18th from 11:30 to 3:00. The park is Creekwood Park in The Woodlands. It has a covered pavilion with picnic tables, grills, a pond with fish and ducks, a play area with swings and a play srtucture for the younger ones, tennis courts and an open field. There are electrical outlets, a bathroom and a water fountain.
Last year, everyone brought their own drinks, meat to grill (if desired) and a dish to share. I would like input on whether to folow the same plan or whether we should do a true potluck and just bring a dish and contribute to a pool for drinks, paper plates, utensils, etc. Any other thoughts will be aprreciated.
This get together is open to Houston area BB'rs as well as any who would like to come in and meet some other BB'rs. I will need to get an idea of how many people expect to be attending (children and adults). Look forward to seeing you there!
