Thanks Lara! I'm new to this so do we send our partner a PM to get her address? And what's the date that we need to have it in the mail by?

    This is fun!

    Yeah! I'm so excited!
"Is ice hockey hard? I don't know, you tell me. We need to have the strength and power of a football player, the stamina of a marathon runner and the concentration of a brain surgeon. But, we need to put all this together while moving at high speeds on a cold and slippery surface while 5 other guys use clubs to try and kill us. Oh, yeah, did I mention that this whole time we're standing on blades 1/8 of an inch thick. Is ice hockey hard? I don't know, you tell me. Next question."

Life is all about a$$; you're either covering it, laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, busting it, trying to get a piece of it, behaving like one, or you live with one.

    Just sent you a PM!!!

I think you would need to PM her through Ed.

Some have asked about getting addresses, etc from people. I think the best way to do that is to PM your partner. Lots of people talked about doing a cookbook swap, but I think that really should be up to the individual partners.

I think in one of the earlier threads I had suggested having your swap package (whatever it may be) sent by around June 15. That way there should be time to think about what to do and get it in the mail. Of course, if you need to do a different timeline, that seems like the sort of thing that you can work out with your partner.

Thanks also for all of the really nice PM's that I have received - that has been so nice of you!

I had fun matching people up - I was glad to do it!

You know, after I posted that I thought "I hope Diana knows I don't mean for HER to read, but for her GUESTS to peruse!"

OK, so I can't get rid of old magazines/books by declaring them "swap gifts" -- back to the drawing board!

Is there a "ship by" date for the exchange, or are we to work it out with our partners?

Joan, I apologize - I had her name misspelled. I corrected it in the list, but wanted to let you know that it should have been jenn anne

I emailed her and let her know that you were out of the country for a little while, just so she knows.
