Hi New England BBers... I'd like to propose another "Koffee Klatch" before the summer ends. Anyone interested in getting together at my house on Sat., Aug. 2 for a drop-in lunch? Let me know and maybe we can pull something together. Martha

My folks are staying at my place that night following a wedding they're attending on the seacoast, but I should be able to come for lunch.

OK, let's plan on Aug. 2 for lunch (12-3 pm - I can't kick DH and kids out for the entire day. They'd revoke my computer priviledges or something). I'm sorry for those who cannot make it, but I understand summer schedules can be busy with vacations.

Thanks for offering to host another klatch, Martha! I'd like to come, but I'm not sure yet if I can. My mother may be visiting at that time and I don't want to ditch her for an afternoon when she doesn't know this area that well. I hope I can go, they're always so much fun!

Our supper club is meeting on Friday, at my
place (the only one who can't make it is knunes so I'll ask

I can definitely make it on Aug. 2nd and DD has been asked to be a "mother's helper" for the time that I'm gone at the home of a friend with a 2 year old. I will make a lightened version of the Pampered Chef "Clubhouse Chicken Squares". See you then!

Diana, Cindy and Katie, I'm so glad you can make it! And Val, you know you're welcome to bring Julia but I understand if you don't want to make the trip. I have a digital camera now so if someone can just clue me in on how to post pictures (maybe at the Klatch), you can feel like you're here!

Your contributions are gratefully accepted and sound delicious! I'm working with the great menu planner, Kari (Pilgrim719) to try to figure out what I'm making!

Martha, I've delayed responding since I wanted to be able to be definite and was trying to switch around some plans. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this time.

I got your PM and I'm happy to tell you that I chose the same Hay Day cookbook that you have (by accident!!). It was only $3 (shipping was $4

) so I'm excited to go through it. I didn't realize there were different ones, but I'm glad I chose the "right" one!

I know everyone will have a wonderful time and wonderful food!

Hey Martha,
Just caught your coffee klatch offer and wanted to let you know that although I'd love to drive down, my youngest and I are spending a bonding day together as oldest daughter is away @ camp and Dad and son are going to a baseball game so I promised her some quality Mom time! Hopefully when the cherubs are all back in school I'll be able to attend one of these klatches! Have fun......looking forward to the pictures!
