Thread: Oh, for pete's sake . . .

    Oh, for pete's sake . . .

Just happened to flip through the channels and found Oprah interviewing the divine Ms. Dion - who is showing her through the "modest home" that they've taken in Vegas. This house has video monitors in every room so Celine and Rene can watch their son sleeping. And Oprah, leading into the story saying: "superstar, diva, singer with the wedding and lifestyle rivaling Princess Di now living the life of a suburban mom". Sorry, Oprah - this suburban mom would love to have a maid, chef, butler and house manager to assist me in maintaining my home and children. Celine never has to lift a finger to do anything other than coo at her precious prince. We all know that she's the only mother on earth.

Gag me gag me gag me. I'm so tired of the hollywood elite pretending to be "just normal folks".

Arghhhh . . . . I am really going to the beach tomorrow. I obviously have too much time on my hands today.

I think Oprah is too far beyond normal to see who IS and who ISN'T

Did she mention that Cesar's Palace built the house FOR them? AND the auditorium? AND she gets paid some astronomical chunk of change for the performances? AND that its only for something like 3 years? Hmmmmm.....she's so tired too that she needs a vacation the end of this month, Toby Keith is subbing for her.

And what about those goofy Chrysler ads where she and the "prince" are looking into a van??? Of course, she's probably never even SEEN a van before the ads were done......only limos.

(OK, I'll get out of my catty box now..hehehe)

Okay, I'm trying to get a mental picture of Toby Kieth "subbing" for Celine . . . . Wonder if he's fit into the costumes

Poor thing, I'm sure she extremely worn out.

Debie you do crack me up. My favorite celeb boondoggle related to children is when they have a new baby and some interviewer makes the amazing announcement that 'they're going to care for the child themselves!' in lieu of fobbing the prince or princess off to a nanny. Well, gee...that's big of them...seeing as it IS their child.
