    Thumbs up We're Interested!

My husband and I live in St. George, are in our thirties, and are interested in meeting new people through a supper club. I actually logged in to post a message of my own when I saw yours! Has anyone else expressed interest?

Glad you responded, I just put it up on Saturday night so you are the first response. I am going on vacation next week so hopefully after I return there will be more responses. At first I was thinking it would be a girls night out supper club but it would be great to include our husbands. Maybe down the road it will evolve. Lets touch base after the 22nd to see if anyone else is interested

Smile already is a supper club in Burlington - pls join us!

    Hi-
We Have a supper club in the burlington area going. We have been together for a little over 2 years. We would love to have you join us!

Currently there are 7 of us. We range in age from the 30s to 50s. Currently there are only women in the group. We all live in the greater Burlington area (Charlotte, Shelburne, Williston, etc). We meet once a month on Sundays at 5pm. Dinner usually lasts until 8- 9pm.

At each dinner we pick the date, location and theme for the next dinner. A lot of times we do a menu that has been in CL. That seems to work best for us.

We try to only cook from Cooking Light, but if you want to use another source (Bon Appetite, Gourmet, etc...), all we ask is that you "lighten it up", meaning try not to go for things that have lots of heavy cream, butter and such.

Also, just to let you know how the club works. We all bring the ingredients for each of our dishes with us and then assemble or cook them at the hosts house. The only time we make ahead is if your dish requires rising, chilling or baking for a very long time and it would hold up the meal. We also try to bring our own knifes, pots, pans, cutting boards, bowls, serving pieces, etc... because the host might not have enough to go around. Also makes less clean up for the host! Don't forget Tupperware too - there are always lots of yummy leftovers!

Let me know if this sounds like a group you'd like to join.
