    BFL food fans

I know that several of you liked my peanut butter/chocolate cc concoction. Well this one comes from Stella's Kitchen Cookbook. I tried it this morning and it's yummanumma...with a better nutritional profile than the pb one.

    Triple Chocolate Milkshake/Pudding

1 scoop chocolate protein powder (my fave is low carb grow)
    1 TBSP cocoa
1 TBSP chocolate fudge sugar free instant pudding
1 cup (or so)skim milk or water (I use 1/2 cup 1% and 1/4 cup water for pudding texture)

Blend. For pudding, use a little less liquid, more drinklike, more liquid.

It's very good and approx 200 cal.

Thanks for posting, Jeanne. I will definitely try this. I just have to get some chocolate p.p. I've been using the unflavored lately b/c it has no carbs.

Ah, for once I already have everything!!!! I've been trying to use up my chocolate p.p. and this will work. (No more chocolate flavored oatmeal. )

Just bumping this up as I made one this afternoon and thought it was VERY good. (I used the full cup of milk so mine was more like a milk shake.)

I still have not tried this one. But I did want to tell you guys something about the chocolate peanut butter one. (In case it's a staple part of your diet, as it is for me! )

Instead of 1 T of p.b., I just add 1 t, and add some sugar-free peanut butter syrup. Saves a few calories, and still tastes good!

    Thanks for that tip!

I am loving the milkshake though. I have it in the morning as a shake and when I have it at night, as pudding. It's really nice and chocolatey with the cocoa added.

    YUM.

    Jeanne,
I hadn't heard of that "Low Carb Grow" p.p. I found it on Vitaglo--a big tub for $29.95 (I think). Where do you buy it? How many carbs per serving?

    Thanks!

I got mine through netrition for 29.95. The low carb has 3 grams of carb.

What I love is not only the taste (although the taste is far superior in my opinion...vanilla too), but it's a protein blend..it's whey and casein.

try the chocolate first. To me the vanilla is easy to mask with fruit etc. The chocolate one really surprised me in a good way!
