Not getting email notifications

While you are looking into the "gremlins", can you see if you can figure out why I don't always get email notifications of postings to threads I'm subscribed to. I start threads, don't always get notifications, I join threads, don't always get notifications, sometimes I get the notifications in the beginning...and then stop getting them. Its aggravating to say the least....

Lots of us seem to have this problem, and so far Jennifer hasn't been able to fix it for us.
