Kim, I live in Riverside, which is probably a little far, but I'm trying to start one here too and so far, no luck! We usually don't mind driving about 45 minutes or so, but I'm not sure exactly where you are. We are about 5 miles east of the 10/15 interchange. Familiar??

That wouldn't be too bad. I am familiar with the area, but are you willing to drive up the mountain to Crestline? Some people get spooked off by the mountain. Let me know, it would be great to get something started.

Are you in Crestline or Riverside? According to your response to my post, you are in Riverside, but this post you are in Crestline.

Sorry ladies, I haven't checked back in a few days, sick with the flu. I am in Crestline, from Riverside it would be about 35 miles or so, maybe 40 minutes to get up the hill. I would like to start up a club around the 13th of December, but I know some people will have Christmas parties and gatherings to go to. If this wont work until after the holidays, we could at least meet during the week maybe for a quick get together at a resturant and meet each other and set up the perimeters of the new supper club. I have been in one supper club before, but could never find enough people to join in and it kind of fizzled out. This would be great if we could get one started. Let me know what you both think. Pam, I completely understand. That is why I was starting a group for the mountains, I really do not want to drive very far from home. Keep posting, I am sure, there has to be people in Riverside that want to start a group, post yourself on your thread every other day and keep the post at the top of the thread, someone is bound to see it.

My husband and I would be interesting in joining a supper club in Crestline. We live in Arrowbear. We are in our 50's enjoy entertaining, cooking and baking. Sounds like fun.

Sorry it has taken me a while to respond. Yes I would be interested in starting a club on the mountain, Arrowbear isnt very far at all. I will see if the person in Crestline would still want to do it. The holidays wiped us out with our time and now that they are gone we would love to get into some cooking and meeting some new friends.

I have been reading your posts and am interested. My husband and I live in the foothills, just as you go up towards Running Springs. I happen to stumble across this site this morning, and am intriqued with the concept. I would really appreciate more details please.

Hi there. Yes we would love for you to join in. I live in Lake Gregory, close to Twin Peaks. We would like to get started by the end of February with the new club. There will be wine tastings provided by the hosts' and each couple would bring a portion of the meal to be decided by a theme which will be chosen by whoever is hosting it. I hope you are still interested, I think this will be very fun.
