    Talking My "Wedding" pictures

Lets see if I can do this the right way!

We had SUCH an amazing time! For those who dont know, Scott took me to Galveston to re-new our wedding vows for our 10th anniversary.

After the ceremony, we ate lunch at this wonderful little cajun restaurant called La Croy Bistro. We had NOLA O-rings and Crab-stuffed red snapper with rosemary sauce and Grilled Green Beans. The we walked around The Strand and watched them set up for Mardi Gras (Galveston also has a large celebration...)

Here are the pics of us:

edited: on photoisland the pics disappear, so I loaded them on imagestation and am going to try to post them again...

    ok, try this:

After we checked into the FABULOUS hotel, we rented a bike and rode next to the ocean.

For dinner we went to Rudy and Pacos a South American restaurant. It was very cool. It had a very "martini bar" feel. We ordered red wine and ceveche and crab cakes. We laughed later when we realized the ceveche was red snapper....so we had had red snapper and crab at both meals!

Later on at the hotel we ordered champagne, tirimisu and cheesecake

For breakfast we ate at The Mosquito Cafe. It is a very cool little place. I had a yummy Frittata! Scott did such an AMAZING job picking out the most perfect places for us to eat and the most perfect things for us to do!

Ok....(big breath)...lets see if the pics show up...

    Kim,
What a fabulous weekend you had! The photos are gorgeous -- and you're both so happy in them. Sounds like Scott gets an A+ for a weekend well-planned. Can we pass along my hubby's e-mail address so he can give him some pointers?

    Glad you enjoyed it!

we timed it pretty well...Scott had planned for us to take a walk on the beach Sunday then stay for lunch, but it was sooo windy that we just left after breakfast Sunday am.

As for the kissing, Leigh....the minister insisted

BTW, the hotel was AMAZING!!! It is listed on the register of historic buildings. Think early 1900's movies with wood panneling, wide marble stairs...the bathroom had marble floors and sink surround and the basin was a seashell. The lights werent overhead flourescent but sconces with "candle" lightbulbs.

The practical side of me kept saying we could have just as easily stayed in a much cheeper hotel, but the romantic side LOVED it!!!

Jodi, I think after this weekend scott could definately give pointers! He was so romantic....opening the car door for me...etc....ya know, things he used to do when we were dating....

Waah! It won't let me in. Says this account has exceeded the maximum number of visitors for the day. Oh well, I'll see the happy 'Newlyweds' tomorrow! So glad it turned out perfectly Kim!
