Can you freeze?

I had made the baked potato soup and went over to my mothers( she enjoyed the soup) Got to take care of mama when you can. She was asking me if you can freeze fresh carrots and string beans. I told her i did not think so. But I had told her I will find out for her. Thx Matt

OK, so maybe I'm wrong...but I disagree with your response to your mother! Well, sort of disagree...you have to blanch first! Makes such wonderful veggies...can add those items you deem necessary-garlic, onions, bell peppers.
What else would we do with those abundant summer crops!
