I know this might sound silly, but I am tired of throwing out half full jars of salsa. Can I put it in a ziploc or foodsaver bag and freeze for a future recipe? (salsa chicken!) We just don't go through it fast enough!
My initial thinking is, hmmm... probably wouldn't freeze real well... might get mushy? But then I remember seeing frozen dinners (like enchiladas w/ salsa or even salsa chicken) in the grocery store freezer section... so it must be do-able at least! Try it and let us know!

I would say, Yes but transfer to a plastic container. Salsa is nothing but veggies so mushy wouldn't be a problem.
We buy the big container of the mango salsa at costco, but it says do not freeze on it. I haven't tried it, but since we never finish the whole container before it spoils, I will have to try it next time.
I searched and found several sites pointing to freezing salsa. Most say when thawed is a bit watery but ok.
If frozen, it would probably be better in a cooked dish than as a straight condiment.
