This shouldn't be that hard. All I want to do is change my name (or the name that shows up in people's inboxes) on my outgoing emails. I've followed the instructions from the help menu, and it's still not working! :mad:

Which version of Outlook are you on? I think in Outlook XP, you have to go to tools-options-mail setup-e-mail accounts. Then you go through the wizard to change an existing account and change your name in user information. Is that what you tried? If that's what you did, you may have to re-start Outlook after you change it.

Sarah...once you change it per Susan's instructions try restarting your computer after the change.
