Thread: Avatar Help

    Avatar Help

When I log into my profile, and click on CHANGE AVATAR, the message I always get is:

ADMINISTRATOR: You MUST revert your modifyoptions template.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get an avatar?

    Help!

I know this has happened to other people. You might want to search for that error message and see what the fix was. I think it might be how you are accessing the site.

    Editing to add:

I knew I saw it before

First go to the tech help section and read the notes there. What I found was AOL does not work with this avatar thingie. Open Internet Explorer and try to get the avatar there.

Awesome - you're right! It worked perfectly as soon as I got out of AOL. Thanks helps!

You need to copy the properties (the URL) of the avatar you want and then you say you want a custom avatar and you paste the URL in the box next to You can enter an URL of your avatar:

    Dee:
there are LOTS of threads with people having problems. Search on Avatar titles only, you won't feel so bad if you can't get it to work. Maybe Pammela can talk you through it since she just did it herself
