I've been interested in a supper club for a few years now, but my hesitation is that I'm a real introvert. As in, I am off the charts for introversion on those personality tests you can take. I love to cook and would like to get together with others who enjoy it too. But I'm afraid I'd just dread the dinner nights. Anyone else really shy but have good luck with a supper club? I'm thinking the cooking would be a good "buffer".
Also, do you prefer to go solo or do you all bring your mates?
Any thoughts?

Anyway, I had such a good time at that first get together that it was much easier to go to the next get together (of course, my husband came to that one, which helped). The really great thing is, after 3 or 4 get togethers, I didn't care whether my husband came or not. I was quite comfortable with my new friends on my own. I think it does take a little more time for those of us who are shy to find a comfort level with a group of new people, but its definitely worth the effort.
Good luck!
