We've been working on the early rising issue as well. DS (who will be 1 tomorrow!) wakes up anytime between 5:30 and 7. We've been doing some Ferberizing (wait 5 minutes, wait 10 minutes, etc) and that has seemed to help somewhat. He will often go back to sleep if he wakes up at 5:30 now. But on the nap issue, he's always been a lousy napper too-- half hour max. Except in the past month or so he's started to take bigger naps: 1 1/2 hours in the am and 1 hour in the pm. So maybe it is something that will change as she gets older.
The role of a librarian is to make sense of the world of information. If that's not a qualification for superhero-dom, what is?
