The day always starts out well...

    Breakfast (7:30am):
    1/4 cup oatmeal
    3 tbs ground flaxseed
    2 tbs wheat germ
    1/2 cup whole milk

    Lunch (12:30pm):
    1 whole wheat Moomie Bun
1 6-oz can low sodium tuna, drained
3 tbs Chipotle Peanut Sauce (recipe on GF Board)
    1 cup baby spionach leaves
    2 slices tomato

Snack (check at 4:00pm): BTA: didn't need snack today (having a glucose meter is an advantage sometimes )
1/2 cup whole milk plain yoghurt
    1 tsp fruit only jam
    1/2 tsp vanilla

    Dinner:
It will be chicken of some sort...
Editing to say that I'm doing an adaptation of Ina's Chicken Stew with Biscuits and a baby spinach salad.

Lazy day today, too tired for the gym...

Breakfast: fat free blueberry yogurt sprinkled with grapenuts

Lunch: the tuna, pasta and peas from Real Simple
    strawberries

Have an apple for a snack if I need it.

dinner will be the burgers from yesterday.

    editing to add:
stopped for a beer while waiting for our real estate agent and my apple was getting old so I had a run in with a handful of pirates booty. We also had pierogies with our burgers, BUT I hate half the burger and three pierogies.

    Tomorrow. must. go. to. gym.

I haven't posted for a few days, but have been doing pretty well (at least since Friday, which was one of those out-on-the-town, don't-dare-count days!). I was out of town overnight and had cereal with a boiled egg for breakfast and a banana snack. However, since I stopped at Subway for lunch and had TWO cookies , I will stick to salad for dinner. The bigger challenge will be exercise when I get home...

Tyra, I'm like you with nuts. I rarely buy them anymore, if I do, it's at the co-op, where I can buy something like 5!

    Srahndennis, way to go!

Was kind of a weird day for me, with my WW meeting and all. Took an hour-long yoga class before work and walked 2 miles during lunch.

    Breakfast
    1 c. fruit, 1 c. soy milk-3 pts.
    2 slices toast-1 pt.

    Snack
    2 mini blueberry muffins-4 pts.

    Lunch
Fresh spinach with grilled chicken-2 pts.
    steamed veggies-0 pts.

    Snack
    1 c. ff yogurt-3 pts.
    1 pear- 1 pt.
    1 reeses cup-4 pts.

    Dinner
    1/2 tuna sandwich-2 pts.

    Book group snack
four crackers with some cheese-4 pts.

    home
    1 c. cereal with milk-3 pts.

I had my WW meeting yesterday. The bad news I was up 1.4 pounds, which I surmised. Could tell I was retaining water. BUT, found out in order to make lifetime, I can raise my goal by 2 pounds, which is much more realistic for me. So I am just about there, no problemo! And I'll be able to make my goal of lifetime by my one-year mark. This makes me very happy!
