With summer coming my goal is to use the oven less. I was wondering if a Spaghetti Pie could be microwaved instead of baked? Do you think the end result would be the same? If so, what would your suggestion be for the time?

Well having just made the pie in question, (and boy was it good), I can't see why it wouldn't work. I not sure that the consistancey would be the same, and if the flavors would meld quite the same but go ahead and give it a whirl. Maybe start with just a couple of minutes at a time and if it doesn't look right, pop it into the oven.
did you ever think of baking it in the grill? that way you won't heat up your kitchen. it would probably be tastier than in the microwave.
Greta, I have to admit that thought crossed my mind for about a split second. I didn't think that was possible. Are you saying it actually is possible? Or, is that an idea, but you don't really know if it would work?
