I was making breakfast this morning -- a soft boiled egg. I reached into the carton, and pulled out this weird looking egg. Half of it is oval like a normal egg. The other half looks kind of flattened out, but there's a slight bulge, presumably where the yolk is. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Do you think it's ok to eat? (I don't know why it wouldn't be, but I ended up putting it back in the carton, and choosing a normal looking egg)
Any thoughts?
