ISO recipe from "Stop and Smell the Rosemary" --- spinach w/ raisins and pine nuts

Someone mentioned this recipe in an old Thanksgiving sides thread I found. The recipe wasn't posted, so I'm hoping someone w/ this cookbook would be kind enough to post the recipe and, even better, include comments about the dish if they've tried it. It sounds like a nice "green" addition to my starchy T-Giving menu. Thanks!!

I don't have the book nor the recipe but there's a great site called Family Time that has tons of recipes out of that book. Take a look at it and maybe your recipe is there but under a different name. Or you could try googling it. I'm amazed at how many times I'll find a specific recipe that way.

Here is the recipe from Stop and Smell the Rosemary. I checked out the links posted by mcgee - I think the Food Network version with sherry vinegar and shallots sounds a bit more interesting.

    Serves 4-6
    1/3 cup golden raisins
    3 pounds spinach, stems discarded
    2 T EVOO
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 t salt
    1/3 cup toasted pine nuts.

Soak raisins in water 10 minutes. Drain. Steam spinach over med-high heat until tender, 2 -3 minutes. Pat dry & cool.

Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, saute until garlic turns opaque. Add spinach. Cook, stirring, 1 minute. Stir in salt, pine nuts and raisins. Cook 3 minutes. Serve immediately.

Wow! You guys are amazing! Thanks so much for the info. I agree that the Food Network version provides a little more "umph" to the recipe. I'll do a test run before the holiday and post back with my thoughts. Thanks again!! : )
