Unless you are going to use it today, wrap it in 2 layers of plastic wrap, then 2 layers of foil and stick it in your deep freezer. It'll keep a long time in there.![]()
Freeze it! I just finished a post on another thread where I froze our Thanksgiving ham bone and just made soup the other night! If you have a foodsaver use it...if not follow Hammster's advice...it really will keep for a long time frozen.Originally Posted by Hammster

I wouldn't keep it in refrigerator longer than 3-4 days. Many mistakenly think that hams like Honeybaked are smoked & therefore safer to keep. They are not & should be frozen to keep longer.
