I want to put marinated cheese, which contains white wine vinegar in the marinade, on an Arthur Court platter. I've found care instructions that say to put high acid foods either on a glass liner of some kind, or to spray the platter with vegetable oil before putting the acid on it. I'm a little worried about the vegetable oil being enough of a barrier. Has anyone done this and for how long? The cheese may sit there for at least 3 hours.
