    Does this menu look okay?

Friday we are hosting a play group at our house for 6 (2 1/2 yr old) kids and moms. Everyone will be here around lunch time so I have put together the following menu.

    Quiche
Spinach dip served with bread sticks & veggies
    Guacamole served with chips
    Cheese and crackers
    Sliced red grapes
    Chex mix
Sugar cookies that the kids will frost/decorate themselves

Some kids are great eaters and others won't eat anything (especially when there is playing to do). I want to offer a variety for the kids and the moms so I am not too worried that my menu is a bit "eclectic". I also want to be able to just put stuff out and have people serve themselves whenever they are ready to eat.

Should I add anything or make any modifications?

Sounds good to me! Your menu has plenty of variety for both adults & children. My 2 1/2 yo nephew could probably be convinced that the quiche scooped out of the shell is "eggs" which he likes (most days) and he loves cheese & grapes.

to me, the spinach dip and guacamole seem a little bit much the same. how about subbing hummus or white bean dip/spread for one of them?

Your menu looks great! One thing I do always add to our menus when I am expecting little ones is macaroni and cheese. It seems like even fussy eaters will always eat this.

I usually include a fruit salad when I have small children over for a meal. It is something most kids will always eat. I also used to make little peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the bread cut out in shapes with a cookie cutter, (ie. hearts for Valentine's Day). Kids can't resist cute sandwiches!

That's a cute idea. Even if you have someone with peanut allergies, you could do little jelly sandwiches or use soy butter (which they have at Whole Foods and tastes like a low-grade peanut butter) with it.
All of your ideas sound great---lots of variety.
