Can I use my Crock Pot crock in the oven?

My CrockPot died yesterday - probably mocking me for trying to make soup in 95 degree weather! It is one with a removable crock, and I was wondering if I could keep it to use in the oven. Anyone know if this would be safe? It is a large oval crock so it would be nice to have something that big. Thanks!

This from a randomly selected Crock-pot brand manual...

Removable stoneware is ovenproof and microwave safe. Do not use
plastic lids in microwave or conventional oven. Do not use removable
stoneware on gas or electric burners or under broiler.
