Okay Gardeners - Help Me Winter My Begonias!

I bought the most beautiful begonias this year. I *think* they're tuberous, which means I should be able to winter them. I'd love to leave them in the current container they're in if possible and store them for the winter.

Can this be done? What exactly shoud I be doing now? Does the fact that they blew over yesterday in all the wind and 3 big stalks broke off  present any problems?

    TIA,
Sarah (the girl with a brown thumb)
Lacey: So now that Superman is done at the Iron Fortress, is he going to spin his web of justice and return to the Batcave?
Brent: You don't read many comic books, do you?

    Begonias

If they are truly tuberous, you can move them inside as a house plant. If you are not good with that, you can let them die back, cut off the old growth and keep them in a cool dry location with limited watering, then slowly move them from storage to house to outside again next spring.
