I am supposed to receive a package tomorrow. Do you think FedEx will be operational tomorrow due to President Ford's funeral?
Silly Question?
Thanks if you can help?

I don't see why they wouldn't deliver. They aren't a government run company like USPS.
FedEx Express and FedEx ground will deliver Jan 2. FedEx Home Delivery will not.

I'm not sure but I would think so. I don't know of any businesses other than maybe banks that are closing and their website doesn't say anything.
ETA: Well, Gumbeaux found more info than I did.

I was expecting a package from FedEx on a Tuesday once, and waited around all day and they never showed up. Turns out that Monday (it was Memorial Day, maybe?) was a holiday, and when I called to complain about them not showing up, I was told that they don't make deliveries on Monday, therefore they took Tuesday off. So... Unless they have since changed their policy (or maybe that was just the policy in this area), I wouldn't count on them showing up.
I just spoke to my ex (my sons father who I am very good freinds with) he is a corporate sales rep for FedEx and he says YES they will be delivering or "running" tomorrow. Your package should be delivered as scheduled.
This board is the best. Thanks for the reassurance as I really need the package today (new cell) and traveling tomorrow by car so safer of course.
Happiest of New Years to all of you. May 2007 bring you great health, wealth and more love.
