I'm curious if those of you who eat meat have a "steak choice" standard...a steak cut you prefer and lean toward when you have a chance to purchase or order it and splurge?
I would never try to cook prime rib at home---mainly because I'm scared I would botch it and the cost for a botched job is too high.
I tried a rib-eye for NYE (DH's choice) and found it just OK.
I think my fav is tenderloin. It is easy, can be found reasonably and usually tastes quite good.
