Quick help: can I salvage this cobbler?

Hi y'all,

wondering if it's possible to salvage this. Last night my DH decided to surprise me by making a peach cobbler, while I was heading home. He rarely cooks and I think this may be the first time he's ever baked something (from scratch). He ended up pulling the cobbler out underdone in the center -- it's still very doughy there, although the edges are done (and per the instructions from the recipe that was all he checked). I don't know what recipe he used (he found it online and no longer had the page up) so I have no idea what temp it was at our how long it was to be in there. Anyone ever have success putting something underdone back in the oven and getting it more done? (By the time I got home, it was almost completely cooled and nearly midnight so I didn't try to "fix" it then). If so, what did you do? I'm thinking of putting it in at 350 for about 15 minutes (it's currently at room temp).

I think he made this with 3 peaches; it's in an 8x8 metal non-stick pan.

Regardless, I'm sure we'll still eat this though!

TIA!!

Well, what a nice guy! I'd fall over if my DH ever tried that. As far as fixing it, I would say give it a go - put it back in the oven at 350 for a little while. If the edges get too brown, you can cover them with aluminum foil. Serving cobbler warm is a treat, so just do it like you're reheating it and you won't have to hurt his feelings like you are fixing his mistake. You certainly don't want to discourage him doing this again.
