Hi, I have a couple of requests for board enhancements ...

First, several other vBulletin-based boards I visit have a Quick Reply feature that is very handy. At the bottom of each thread is a text box with a few basic formatting tools. You can type your reply there and post without having to click a "Post Reply" button and go to a separate screen. You can "Go Advanced" if you want the full set of tools and options, but I almost never have to do that. I would really like to see that feature turned on for this board.

Second, a lot of these boards have a LOT more smilies available. A minor feature, sure, but some of them are really cute and fun. I can email examples to someone if desired, there are a handful I know of that I would use here frequently LOL.

Hi there. Thanks for your suggestions for board enhancements. The Quick Reply feature sounds like it would be a much better user experience, and the emoticons seem like they'd be an improvement, too.

I've heard word that there may be a new community expert in NY helping us out with VBulletin, and I'll make sure she sees your recommendations. (We no longer have full admin controls here.)
