Bosch 36" gas Cooktop? Anyone?

I'm having trouble finding reviews here and on Garden Web - can anyone please help me out?

Thanks!

(Cross posting on Great Food because we've got a good deal expiring tomorrow!):-)

This is a big deal for me to consider a gas cooktop - I've always had electric, but am ready to make the leap. There's a good deal on the Bosch one, and we also like the GE Monogram one - but the Bosch has grates that come fully to the front of the cooktop, while the other has that space taken up by knobs.

Thanks for any help you can offer...:-)

Sorry this is not a personal recommendation or anything, but I want a new 30" gas range and the designer who did a major reno on my ex's house, including massive kitchen remodel, suggested the Bosch HGS3053UC for me as perfect for my needs and price range. The guy buys a LOT of appliances, and I totally trust him. Don't know if that helps, but it's all I've got .

Thanks, that IS helpful!

The salesperson at our Great Indoors, whom we have bought other appliances from over the years, was encouraging us to buy this one, over the more expensive GE Monogram! There's about a $300 price difference, and the Bosch uses the space effectively, with the left and right grates coming right to the front edge, with knobs in the center front. The GE had knobs in the front and center, but the whole panel extended from L to R, if that makes sense. Kind of wasted space, IMO

The features were similar, the big BTU burner is very similar, and so it seems to come down to which style we prefer.

I just haven't had any experience with the Bosch brand for any big appliances.

Gosh, I've never heard anything but great reviews on the brand.
More scientific data from yours truly
