Chicken Pomodoro

I am making a recipe for Chicken Pomodoro from Cuisine At Home magazine. The recipe calls for using fresh diced tomatoes. I've read reviews for recipes for Chicken Pomodoro on several websites and many people say it's better flavor wise to use canned diced tomatoes?? What's your opinion?? The tomatoes at the market look okay, not great but not bad either??? My gut tells me to use the canned for more strength of tomato flavor?????

Although our tomatoes down here usually look really good, I always used canned for this type of recipe...I find they stay together more and the flavor is much more intense than fresh.

Is the recipe on-line?
