Anyone know where I can get stickers for my rubbed off keyboard?

I posted about my problems with my laptop --- with my oh so faded keys. It's like I am taking a typing test.

I've tried a couple of different markers (silver/white since I have a black keyboard). The first day or two it works fine, but they eventually start smudging/wearing off, as demonstrating by the stuff on my fingers right now. Oh, and the package said permanent markers, good for plastic etc.

Oh, the letter K and Z look great, guess I don't use those often.

So, stickers/decals is might next try (a new computer is not in my plans right now). I've googled/searched for them in the past, and never saw English, just other languages. I think I might have seen hot pink now that I think about it.

Do you think that p-touch (is that the name) that people use to label things would work or would the "tape" be too thick? The drawback would be having to buy that gadget.

Any ideas on where to get black/gray keyboard stickers??

Many thanks!

ETA: I'm thinking my next post will be on suggestions on how to get silver marker off my fingers since the marker is rubbing off as I type.

You can replace the keyboard without replacing the laptop. It was very easy to do with my Dell.

And if the laptop is still under warranty, they might replace it for free.

Gumbeaux -- Thanks so much, just what I needed. I looked awhile back on Amazon and had no luck finding what I needed. Thanks for the help.

Armel -- Thanks for the suggestions. My laptop is 4 yrs old and I don't want to really invest any money in this thing but man oh man I want to see my keys. Spending a few bucks on stickers would work.

Thanks again.

I've replaced a keyboard before and it's easy and about $30. However, if that isn't what you want to do, how about getting one of those flexible silicone keyboards? I saw one in Staples for about $10. I'm asssuming you plug it into a port. I'd rather do that than waste the time writing the letters on a keyboard.
