I was so happy to see this thread for whatever the reason. Glad to see the sun is still shining in Colorado. Happy skiing.

Happy skiing!! My in-laws had 6 inches of snow in Wyoming. It just seems too early for that!

Kind of hard to relate when it was 91 here today. What happened to fall? But I'm happy that you are happy. Now could you push that cooler weather on this way so we can share the season and the joy?

That's great, but please keep the snow out there for at least another couple months, ok?

Happy Skiing.
They are predicting flurries here this weekend...YYIPPPPIEEEE!
So good to see you "smiling."
My joy was looking up in the sky tonight, seeing a huge full moon (or close to it), winds coming in, all day was overcast and raining---SO BEAUTIFUL!! My stray black kitty has turned into a family member and the others are tolerating him well (most of the time). He is so sweet and cute....

My thoughts exactly. Have fun!

Looks like Saturday will be a great day for it too. Us, we have soccer instead. Or maybe not. I guess we will find out.

Well, it'll probably be Sunday before I can get up as Friday night is the party in honor of my cousin but it is a week before I thought it would happen. And, yes, to those of you who mentioned the peace and therapy that is what this will be. I promise to post my traditional first chair lift ride of the season photo so you can all share it with me.

Glad to hear that you will be able to ski very soon. I always think that there is something peaceful about being out in the snow. I hope that you are able to find peace and healing there.

Awesome news! Can't wait to see that photo!
You so deserve that time. I am sending you all of JackieO's and my snow for the the fall season! Heck, you can have all of my snow for this year
(I am already complaining about how cold it has gotten, and the fall has just started~)

Well I wanted to see if you'd had a therapy session yet, but see you have chosen to be responsible and work first. Hope both the party Friday and the ski on Sunday are good.

Robin has 1/2 days of school for teacher conferences today and Friday, but Holly has full days of school. Bummer. If Holly was still in elementary school, we would have skipped out and flown up there last night to ski too.

Well, for some odd reason they hadn't mailed my pass to me so I had to go to a different ski area to pick that up. By the time I went by Arapahoe Basin the line was at least an hour long and even I won't wait in that for 1 measely run. So instead I visited my favorite ski shop in Frisco and bought some Skins compression tights, had lunch with a friend I haven't seen since May then had dinner with another friend and her family so while there was no skiing it was still mountain and friend time so it was good. Hoping to go up this coming Sunday and be there at lift opening to get through quickly.
