Any Luck Getting Armour Thyroid Prescriptions??

The past few months I've had a hard time getting the Armour Thyroid from my pharmacy. Has anyone found a reliable source for this- either a certain pharmacy chain or an online source? TIA

I have had to go back to synthetic thyroid meds. I haven't been able to get Armor in a while- at least 6 months. It's unfortunate, because my hair has started falling out thanks to the synthetics, but I don't really have a choice. Hopefully the supply chain will improve, but it's been so long now, that I have my doubts.

Terri are you using generic synthetic thyroid drugs or Synthroid? My body did not react well to the generics and Synthroid makes the biggest difference for me. I think I have mentioned previously that I am not into the Armour stuff, so I cannot help you there. But my endocrinologist feels strongly that name-brand-Synthroid produces the best results (anecdotal(ly) that has proven true for me).

Mine too. I haven't tried the generics at all, he's always had me on Synthroid.
