Question Favorite appetizer using portabellos

I have 4 huge, beautiful portabello mushrooms waiting to be gobbled up...we are going to a friends for dinner tonight and I would love to take a great appetizer...anyone have any easy recipes I can whip up today?

Giada had a simple one with parm cheese and tomato sauce.
So easy and good.

That's what I made for dinner last night with polenta. Very filling. Wonderful!

Is this meant to be a first course or more of an hors' doeuvre? My first thought is to make a duxelle and and serve it on toast points. Or wrap in puff pasty.
