Spinach Ball Question

I have made the "famous" Spinach Balls several times. They are wonderful! I need to bring them to a party that is a 35 minute drive. I won't have access to her oven once there. Can I bring them cold from the refrigerator not baked and just microwave them once at her house? How should I do this

I'd bake them at home and heat them in the microwave rather than attempting to cook them in the microwave.

I'm not positive about this but I think I've served them at room temperature (not cold) too. You also can bake them at home, then put them in a large roasting pan, cover with foil, keep warm in oven until you are ready to leave. If you wrap the warm pan with heavy duty foil, they should still be warm when you get to the party. Putting the warm pan in an insulated bag or cooler will also help.

Also, I've found in the past that a small cooler will keep food hot as easily as it will keep things cold, so you could bake and transport in a cooler.

I have some tiles that I wrap in foil and put in the oven when I'm baking something. I put them under whatever I am taking (on a baking sheet or just on a beach towel and wrap it over) to keep something warm. I have also used my pizza stone for a large dish. A cooler would keep them warm too, but I think I'd like to put something warm in there with them to help retain the heat. You can't use a hot tile, but maybe some rice or beans nuked to warm them -- like the wraps?

I have baked them ahead of time, then warmed them up (and kept them warm) in a crockpot. I wouldn't cook them in a microwave.
